Donald Walter Dougal Bailey (Doug) was born Oct 5th, 1940 in Ocean Falls, BC.  He was an intriguing character who led an remarkable existence. When Doug and Debra moved to Clearwater in 2007, they believed maybe they may ‘flip houses’ – but the Fantastic Lord experienced other strategies for them as Doug’s wellbeing deteriorated and while he by no means complained, he experienced a coronary heart assault and a stroke, conquer diabetic issues, recovered from two damaged wrists, and valiantly fought off colon cancer for quite a few years…. Nicely, he obtained a job with Don Rogers (Surprise: Laptop maintenance and much more!) and he designed a love for chickens and as all of us in the space know: Doug and Deb put their difficulties aside and full-heartedly joined the volunteer planet. Doug was the initial ever male chairperson of a local Royal Purple Lodge. He led Lodge #302 Clearwater. Doug was also a stability guard for Clearwater Police, an lively member of the Emergency Help Companies team, the Royal Canadian Legion, the Blackpool Corridor committee and contributed several hours of services to the NT Aboriginal Cultural Culture.

Doug passed absent peacefully in his home without having agony with Debra and their pricey and close buddy, Cheryl  Thomas at his side on November 8th, 2022.  He will be missed by his loving spouse Debra, his fur toddlers Mandy, Kaiser & Toby, his youngsters Christina (Rob) and Jeff (Angie) and grandchildren (Alissa, Leif, Celeste), his sister Robin (Monthly bill), Susan (Larry) (predeceased by his sister Betty-Jean.(Gerry)), Brothers in Regulation, Stewart Goodin and David Marks (Linda), his nieces, nephews, and all his close friends and neighbours who have fulfilled and loved him over the 82 many years of his excellent lifetime on this earth.
