Marilyn (“Lynn”) Jane Vitale, 79, of Frederick, formerly of Washington, MI, passed away peacefully on Friday April 15, 2022, at Tranquility at Fredericktowne, in Frederick, MD, just after a short illness.

She was born September 27, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan. As a kid she experienced a passion for swimming, and swam competitively in faculty. She graduated from Southeastern Large University in 1960. She appreciated crafting in advance of it was a “matter”. When her youngsters were being young, she put in countless hrs stitching their outfits and Halloween costumes. She liked to bake and was justifiably very pleased of her amazing fruit cakes, cookie bars, pumpkin pies, and apple crisp. She loved dancing, bicycle rides, and drives in the country with her family. Inevitably there would be a end for ice product. Mint chocolate chip, peppermint, & strawberry cheesecake ended up her favorites. At dwelling she would make a wide variety of sundaes, with an array of various toppings. Lynn liked to do puzzles, sudoku, and read. She was usually intrigued in mastering new issues and kept a very well-worn dictionary future to her chair so she could appear things up if she was not acquainted with it. She normally bought the annual Entire world Almanac to be “up-to-date” and liked to clip content articles from newspapers and publications that she assumed had been appealing, nicely-created, or have been about somewhere she would like to travel to. She might have missed her calling as a librarian, as she spent the time to neatly file all the things away. She experienced a speedy wit and manufactured new good friends quickly with her ready smile, kindness, and bubbly laugh. Soon after acquiring a degree in computer programming, she took a situation for a new telecommunications enterprise undertaking knowledge entry/personal computer programming and then employee instruction in the quite new “.com” period. As a grandmother she relished Saturday evenings checking out with spouse and children for motion picture evenings.

She is survived by her former spouse Salvatore Vitale, and their kids Lynne Marie (Steve) Donovan, Samuel (Leesha), and Jon (Joann), her 9 grandchildren, Natalie Farsakian, Nicholas Farsakian, Andrew Donovan, Kathryn (Philip) Landreth, Salvatore (Brittni) Vitale, Jon-Thomas (Bonnie) Vitale, Janette (Adam) Scanlan-Berman, Victoria (Tyler) Thoms, and Samuel Vitale. Also, her 9 excellent-grandchildren: Gianna Farsakian, Gabriel Landreth, Caleb Landreth, James Vitale, Thomas Vitale, Noelle Scanlan-Berman, Lilah Scanlan-Berman, Grayson Thoms, and Sage Thoms, and her siblings Don (Fran) Feerer, Lori (John) Rice, and Wendy (Sean) Lane. She is predeceased by her mom Dorothy (nee Tanner) Hill, her stepfather, Douglas Hill, and her brother, Gary Feerer.

Loved ones and good friends can obtain at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Residence, 106 East Church, Frederick, MD 21701 on Wednesday April 20, 2022, from 4 to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will acquire area at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, in Frederick, MD on Thursday April 21, 2022, at 10 am, followed by a luncheon at Pistarro’s, 221 N East St, Frederick, MD. Lynn will then be transported to Michigan where household and pals can collect at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E 15 Mil Rd, Sterling Heights, MI on Saturday April 23rd from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. She will be laid to relaxation following to her mom at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township, Michigan. There will be a luncheon (aspects to comply with).
